Following in the footsteps of his father (John), Geoffrey first began his pursuit into auctioneering and valuing at an early age, before attending college in Southampton, and gaining his qualification in 1970 with the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers (later to amalgamate with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). He then joined the Fine Art Department at Brightwells, where he managed the Ceramics and Glass section, the Book Department and worked as an all-purpose valuer.
Working in the fine art industry for over 30 years, Owain studied at Solent University, gaining his qualification as a member of the RICS. Starting as a porter at Brightwells, he rose through the ranks to become the head of department. His main interests include furniture, metalware, treen and specialist photographic equipment. He is also available to assist with probate and insurance valuations.
Coming from a family of antique dealers, Daniel has an extensive knowledge of country interiors and furnishing, as well as being an avid Pigeon Decoy collector.
Dan first began his career in antiques auctioneering working as a porter for Brightwells during his studies at the Royal Agricultural College. He then went on to become a trainee auctioneer at Lacy Scott and Knight in Suffolk before returning to Brightwells as an auctioneer and valuer.
One of our most recent additions to our team, Natasha is an FGA qualified gemmologist, as well as our in-house jewellery specialist, with a background in luxury retail marketing, including fine art and antiquities.
Roger has a career of over 40 years in the fine art auction industry, spanning across Herefordshire, Shropshire and Wales. With a comprehensive well of knowledge for many subjects, his special interests include English silver and country furniture.

As a third-generation numismatist, Adrian has spent years researching and reviewing all kinds of coins and banknotes from across the world, spanning from ancient times to the modern era. This includes English Civil War gold along with exonumia items such as Chinese tea bricks and Celtic ring money.
James is our specialist picture consultant, bringing over forty years of experience working as a picture auctioneer, both in London and the provinces. His expertise cover a wide range of period pieces, but specialises in British and European Paintings c.1650-1950.

After attaining a Fine Arts Valuation degree from Southampton Solent University in 2006, Caroline has over 18 years’ experience working in the fine art auction world. Her role has since evolved into specialising in jewellery, watches as well as unique pieces from the Art Deco period.
Sam oversees both the processing and photography of our Antiques & Interior Sales, whilst also taking great pride in the presentation of our Fine Art Auctions.
