How to Buy

To be able to bid in any of our auctions you must first register with Minster Auctions. Bidding at Minster Auctions can be done in the following ways;

On-line bidding

Commission/written bids

Bid by telephone – Bidding by phone is available on lots subject to availability of telephone lines, these to be booked by 4.00pm on day prior to auction.

Buyer’s Charges

Buyers will be charged a buyer’s premium of 20% on the hammer price of each lot.

Purchased lots that have not been collected seven working days after the auction will be subject to a £5 per lot per day storage charge.

All the above charges are subject to VAT at the current rate (books and unframed maps are exempt).
